The "Great Beginnings" classroom is the first introduction to the Montessori curriculum. It encompasses a multi-sensory approach to learning. The very young child is invited to explore, play, move, and touch! Curriculum includes extensive areas of puzzle play, water play, dramatic play, art exploration, colors, numbers, shapes, and the "Joy of Discovery"!

The development of language skills is paramount at this early stage of development. Listening, speaking, following directions, and recall will be developed. The "Great Beginnings" program approaches toilet training when the child shows signs of readiness. Very young students learn the joy of independence and delight in their growing level of self-reliance.
