In the Montessori Elementary, more advanced materials fill the curriculum areas. Here children can widen their social interaction and academic pursuit in a fascinating world of manipulative "jobs". The children will have a kaleidoscope of activities and learning materials from which to choose. The learning areas include reading, writing, language arts, math, geography, social studies, life science, music, arts, and crafts.

Many parents have expressed the desire for a continuum for their children once their preschool years are completed. We feel that CMS will fulfill that need and offer your child the opportunity to really explore the realm of the sensorial Montessori experience as it transitions into the intellectual phase of development, years 6 - 9.

This ungraded classroom is supplied with all the necessary Montessori manipulative materials that are specially designed for use by the older child who has developed abstract reasoning powers. It will be the utmost importance that the Montessori Philosophy prevails at all times, keeping in mind that a child learns best from his own physical activity and senses, and if given the freedom to discover, explore, and create in a loving supportive environment, will develop a lifelong love of learning.
